 iage diary: "The idea of publishing a songbook with Clara has inspired me 
 to work." The newly married Schumann couple soon devoted themselves to set
 ting twelve poems from Friedrich Rückert's "Liebesfrühling" to music.\n\
 nWhile Robert puts his musical contribution down on paper in no time at al
 l\, Clara does not find the work so easy. Disillusioned\, she notes: "I ha
 ve no talent for composition at all!" Robert encourages his wife not to de
