 lebrated for their music during their lifetime\, others composed more quie
 tly\, but what they all have in common is that their works fell into obliv
 ion and are unfortunately still too rarely heard. The compositions by Cath
 erine Kontz (London) and Albena Petrovic-Vratchanska (Luxembourg) both ref
 er to songs by Helen Buchholtz and\, through their forward-looking tonal l
