DESCRIPTION:Finding a Voice presents a programme of music by Irish women co
 mposers inspired by Clara Schumann and Beethoven\, alongside music by Clar
 a Schuman . These works include commissions to mark Clara Schumann’s bic
 entenary in 2019 and Beethoven’s 250th anniversary in 2020.\n\nProgramme

 53) for piano\nVarious: Reflections on a Theme by Clara Schumann (2019) fo

 ’Leary: Bagatelles (2020) for piano\n\nPaul Roe | Clarinet\nMary Dullea 
 | piano\nJane O'Leary | Composition\n\nPaul Roe is an Irish musician with 
 particular interests in performance\, education and coaching. He is a perf
 ormer (clarinet and bass clarinet) of international repute and was Associa
 te Principal Clarinet of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland from 1
 987-2000. He has been a member of Concorde Contemporary Music Ensemble sin
 ce 1989 and has given solo\, ensemble and orchestral performances througho
 ut Europe\, Asia and America. Paul has a PhD in Performance Practice from 
 the University of York\, a Masters Degree in Community Music from the Univ
 ersity of Limerick and he is a Fellow of Trinity College\, London. He cur
 rently teaches at the Dublin Institute of Technology\, Conservatory of Mus
 ic and Drama and at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.\n\nIrish p
 ianist Mary Dullea leads a diverse performance career internationally as s
 oloist and chamber musician. Her frequent broadcasts include BBC Radio 3\,
  Radio 4\, RTHK\, RTÉ Lyric FM\, WQXR\, Radio New Zealand and Sky Arts\, 
 Irish\, French\, Austrian and Italian television. Concerto appearances inc
 lude RTÉ Concert Orchestra\, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and KZN Phi
 lharmonic Orchestra. Mary’s piano trio\, Fidelio Trio\, are passionate a
 dvocates for piano trio repertoire around the world and have been Gramopho
 ne Magazine Editor’s Choice for their recordings. Since 2015 Mary been D
 irector of Performance at Royal Holloway\, University of London where she 
 is also a Professor in Music.\n\nBorn in Hartford\, Connecticut\, composer
  and performer Jane O’Leary has been resident in Ireland since 1972. She
  is a graduate of Vassar College and holds a PhD in composition from Princ
 eton University\, where she studied with Milton Babbitt among others. She 
 was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Music Degree by the National University 
 of Ireland in 2007. O’Leary’s music has been selected on several occas
 ions for performance at the ISCM World New Music Days and has been perform
 ed at prestigious international festivals and venues\, including the Kenne
 dy Center\, Washington DC\; the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New Yo
 rk\; the Chicago Cultural Center\; Kings Place\, London\; Centre Culturel 
 Irlandais\, Paris\; and West Cork Chamber Music Festival.\n\nTickets: 20/1
