In this Advent concert, you will hear Elfrun Gabriel Foundation scholarship recipient Hanna Jang (piano) together with Junseo Hyoung (violin).
Hanna Jang completed her studies at Seoul National University with Professor Hyoung-Joon Chang and at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Professor Pietro De Maria, followed by master classes with Professor Gerald Fauth at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. Her concert activities have taken her to the Foellinger Great Hall of the Krannert Centre for the Performing Arts (USA), the Marbella International Music Festival (Spain) and the Bösendorfer Hall (Salzburg), among others. She has also made guest appearances at festivals such as Musik & Gegenwart 103, ZfGM Festival 2024 and the gala concert of the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre ‘Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’.
Junseo Hyoung studied violin at Yewon School and Seoul Art High School. He is currently completing a bachelor's degree at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig.
